Phil Holland faced death at the hands of police brutality, and came back to life. He learned not to take this on alone in the process.
Phil was delivering pizza for his job and was shot at 14 times and hit twice – in the face and the leg. He survived to tell the story that police brutality is real and it happens to people who are completely innocent.
Phil shares about the support he needed throughout his journey of recovery:
Reach out. Don’t face what you are going through by yourself. It will likely seem easier to go it alone; better, cheaper, even. Accept sooner than later that you don’t have to rough it out on your own. The catharsis that takes place when you speak on what is ailing you will do you and your journey wonders.
