About Amla:

Amla Mehta is a speaker, teacher and author who encourages all beings to live authentically by embodying self-love and speaking your truth. As a woman living with tunnel vision, she is an advocate and activist on behalf of all people living with disabilities, whether they have mobility, hearing, vision, cognitive or other challenges.

Amla graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Sociology. She has also developed her own intensive yoga and meditation practice, a discipline that she draws on for writing, speaking and inspiring others. She loves hugging trees and practicing meditation by the Farmington River, located in Connecticut.
