There will never be two people who share the same perspective. It is impossible. They may share similar perspectives, but never the same. With this understanding, truth is subjective as well. We perpetuate conflict when we do not understand the distinction between “my truth” and “the truth”. Clinging to “my truth” and expressing it as “the truth” is a common issue today, especially online.

  • Truth is subjective

  • Sugar-coated truth

  • Truth vs belief

  • Having curiosity with why you think something is true

  • My truth vs. the truth

  • Reality is subjective

  • People making bold statements to get reactions

  • Seeking understanding as the goal

  • Fear of being wrong
