Based on generational conditioning, FOMO appears to be an unavoidable trap. Our natural tendency to compare ourselves with others facilitates more disempowerment than empowerment. In these cases, fear is the root motivator. And as long as fear drives our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we will continue to deplete and shrink ourselves. We will continue to limit our potential. But what would be possible if we trained our minds to leverage comparison for inspiration instead?

  • FOMO and expectations

  • Negative comparison and sense of lack

  • Not being 100% content with where we are

  • Fear sells

  • Fear of death

  • We’re not curious enough about our FOMO

  • Fear as a motivator sucks

  • Leveraging comparison for inspiration
